X-Ray Vision vs. Invisibility is a series of 10 stitcheries that depict x-rays and infrared images of undocumented immigrants crossing the US/Mexico border illegally. Images were collected from the US Border Patrol and Minuetmen websites. All materials were sent to Brazil where the images were embroidered by Bilú Alcântara in exchange for the amount it would cost her to illegally immigrate to the United States.
